I can’t believe how good of a value the Londoner afternoon tea is, I found 20% off online, so for each person it was less than £50. The experience overall was very classy, much more like an £80 experience, even including a starter, which many don’t.
There’s a huge tea selection, the server wasn’t that informed about the tastes, but was happy to switch often so I ended up having 5 varieties.
The sandwiches were unique and that they were cut in little squares on a three tiered platter, quite filling.
The scones were excellent, small light and fluffy. There is a large dessert tray and each person can choose two out of the six options, so the two of us split for different ones. I didn’t love the brie cheesecake ball, but what an original idea.
Overall, I think the Londoner is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a really nice afternoon tea at a very reasonable cost
