Royal Lancaster London offers its Blooming British Afternoon Tea in the Hyde Cafe, located opposite Hyde Park. This experience is a collaboration with the Natural History Museum, featuring a floral-inspired menu and pastries that celebrate British pollinators. Served on unique hanging golden cake stands, the menu includes bespoke tea blends from Camellia's Tea House, such as the Pollinator blend. The venue provides floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Italian Gardens.

I honestly didn't go into this afternoon tea with much expectations, but was really happy with the experience. The hotel itself was beautiful for the holdays with plenty of xmas dress and decorations - very festive.
The service was impressive, two servers were both extremely attentive and nice. Maybe some of the best service I've had this year for afternoon tea.
The food itself was the highlight, I had the 'festive' version. Even though there are only 4 sandwiches, each was unique and 'substantial'. The avocado salmon was my favorite, the truffle beef was also tasty.
Scones were medium sized and not too doughy, some of the best I've had recently. 4 desserts were exceedingly flavorful, with a mint mouse being the most memorable. All were unique, including a dark chocolate cherry and something almost german cake tasting.
The best part, this is not 'that' expensive' of an afternoon tea - I think ours was £59 for the festive version. Having just had one for £109 that had far worse service and food, the Royal Lancaster is a great option!
